In 1959, Schade Builder's Supply was established by Wilbur and Edna Schade. Wilbur and Edna's initial approach to the industry laid the foundation for a strong, family owned legacy, that continues to this day. Their dedication and helpful advice to their customers helped spread the Schade name throughout the area. During the infancy of the business, our services were limited to small amounts of lumber, plywood, windows, and carpeting.
In 1976, Dan Schade Sr., along with his wife Jean, purchased the business from hi sparents. Dan and Jean, carried on the important role of putting their customers first. Working closely with their clients to provide the materials and know-how to help make every project successful. In 1982, Schade Builder Supply joined Progressive Affiliated Lumbermen, which increased the stores buying power, allowing us to serve our customers with a much wider array of building products.
In 1999, Dan Schade Jr. purchased the business from hsi parents. Since then, Schade Builder Supply has continued to expand by acquiring a staff of knowledgeable, experienced profressionals. Our team makes every effort to build strong, lasting relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and reacting quickly to current market trends to maintain competitive pricing.
